Evidence of water on mars planet

Since the mars planet was discovered, the scientists have been looking for the evidence of water on martial surface. In present days the water exists on the planet but almost entirely as ice and very few quantities are present in atmosphere. Not everywhere the ice can be seen on mars planet but only visible at the north polar ice cap. It is also found that a large quantity of water ice is present beneath the permanent carbon dioxide ice cap at the southern pole of mars planet. Not only this, it is also identified that more than five million cubic kilometers of ice which is sufficient to cover entire planet to the depth of 35 meter have been identified. And even more water ice is estimated to be locked in the deep surface of the planet.
